Artist Description: 

The Flowdown is an integrative band that bridges together various musical styles and personalities to convey the diversity of human spirit through musical potency. The group seams together rock, jazz, funk and hip-hop through lush instrumental arrangements blended with lyrical rhymes and vocal melody, offering grooves to audiences of all kinds.

The Flowdown began its career entertaining college crowds at Bucknell University. The group, at that time known as Flowdown Street Six, received an inspirational start as the opening act for artists Jurassic 5 and Keller Williams. Shortly after recording the debut album "The Synthesis," the band's songs received multiple top 10 channel awards democratically chosen by listeners on ourstage.com, including a number one channel ranking to appear at 10K Lakes Festival.

In 2009, the band transitioned into New York City and reformed as 'The Flowdown,' an entirely new group with members from Brooklyn. The group has been performing often within the New York City area, and released the debut album "Metamorphosis."
